Replaced Logic board, worked for a couple months, battery now dead

I needed to replace my logic board as the original one had issues (https://developer.apple.com/forums/threa...) and was successful in doing so.

I used my MBP for a couple months post install and it worked great. Just recently, the battery life has been nonexistent and needs to be plugged in via USB-C or the laptop will shutdown.

coconutbattery reports:

  • Current Charge: 0 mAh
  • Full charge capacity: 208 mAh
  • Design capacity: 3.1%
  • Cycle count: 152
  • macOS Battery status: Poor

I double checked the contacts from the logic board to the battery controller and it looks ok to me. I can confirm that the battery isn't charging since I checked it with a multimeter and it showed around 2V.

My suspicion is that the problem is with the (new) logic board -- anyone else think so too?

Can you post the CoconutBattery screen so we can get the rest of the info. Adding images to an existing question

I would stay given the age of your system you may just need a new battery.

Question edited with image. I don't think the battery itself is of issue since it retained charge normally before I replaced the logic board. Maybe the battery controller?

You've got a double whammy! First the battery needs to be replaced, while the cycles are not beyond the 1k limit, the age is over the expected lifespan. MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2016-2017) Battery and here's the guide to put it in MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar Late 2016 Battery Replacement

But you also have a charging logic issue! This system will need the logic board repaired as well. You'll note the charger is plugged in but the charger is not charging Charging with 0 Watts Which it should be!
