if I charge my iPod, it wont be filled

if i charge my 1st Gen iPod doesn't have any power even i charge it all day long, sometimes it's turn on with only a huge red battery screen with flash logo below the red battery. If i turn on it always appears 20% remaining battery and then it's turn off it self again then turn on again. it does the same thing if i do charging my iPod.

This is usually caused by a faulty battery. Try changing the battery first. The guide to do this can be found here: iPod Touch 1st Generation Battery Replacement.

If this doesn't work, try resetting the iPod. This can be done by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until it turns off. Once it's off, release the buttons and it should turn back on again.

If the replacement battery doesn't work and resetting it doesn't help, then there is something wrong with the board in the iPod on the charge circuit preventing it from charging. In this case, you will need a new board, board level repair or a replacement device.
