Does the 13 mini face ID get disabled still when replacing the screen?

I've seen a lot of reports saying the iPhone 13 no longer disables face ID when replacing the screen since IOS 15.2, and all the IFixit pages for the iPhone 13's mention this except the 13 mini's page which still states "The iPhone 13 disables the Face ID function when you replace the screen". iPhone 13 mini Screen Replacement

Is this still a problem for the 13 mini? or has the page just not been updated yet?

I just want to make sure before I buy a replacement screen so I don't waste my money :)
Thanks!

Actually I don’t think ifixit has a deal now.

Apple sells the screen kit for just $227.95 will all the official registration that makes everything work, and ifixit sells it for $349.

Just send it back to Apple.

if everything is still working and have broken glass only, I can offer refurbishing service for you phone. This way, you get to keep all the functionality and it won't display non genuine display message.
