i tried to charge my ipod but the screen never turns off and cant play music , like if it was on locked , is there any way to repair this? Like a computer freeze up , thats what it is like.

- Toggle the hold switch on and off. (slide it to hold, then turn it off again)
- Press and hold the Menu and Center buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds
