Why is the tab in my sd card slot not coming out?

There is a tab that comes with most Chromebooks that covers the sd card slot- I assume to prevent dust and such from getting in it. But everywhere I've looked on the internet they seem to have no trouble getting it out. I tried to pull it out with tweezers and more but it is meant to fit the hole completely. I don't know if it is stuck in it or something but I need a solution to get it out so I can transfer files quickly.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

To remove an sd card you press in until it clicks then it will come out. So try that, to remove a sim card there's a hole next to it you press a pin-tool into, I don't think your model has that. Last suggestion press downwards with your thumbnail to unlatch it. If none of that works someone who knows more will answer you when they see this. I don't aveone to play with so just generic guesses.

Well, it's not that sd card that is stuck, the tab covering it apparently get stuck or something, which is why I can't insert an sd card.

some SD card slots have a "door" that opens as you insert the card. If it is a "cover" that is flush, then it may actually be that your model does not have a slot available and what you are seeing is the knockout for the model that does.

According to the specs on their website, it's supposed to have one, so I don't know.
