iPhone 3GS wifi problems

So.. A few days back i droped my iphone and now i have poor wifi signal. Any ideas?? Thanks.

The wifi antenna is a tiny little ribbon underneath the simslot, so damage in that area might be a sign! It's not an easy repair because you have to take apart the entire phone to get to it. You could open the phone and check no.6 ( small round connector.. Might be no.5?) is on properly. I don't believe there is a guide or part for this repair on here, so use the guide for rear cover.. Link is under the photo. The part is easy to find on eBay for a few $$

Polly is correct. Your Flex Cable #6 has simply come loose from the Logic Board connector. It is a small simple snap cap connector. It must be very carefully pressed back down to the Logic Board connector. Before opening and during any repair of iPhone 3GS make sure the iPhone is OFF.
