Why are my analogue sticks not responding again after replacement?

I have Ps4 controller that usually drift downwards. I tried to replace the wheel sensor but that could not fix it. I then decided to replace the whole analogue stick with a new one. After replacement, both analogue sticks totally stoped responding with the left stick constantly stuck in a drifting position of the top left corner. I have done replacement twice with two different new stick but still having thesame problem. This is not first time i am having this issue - sometimes after replacing joysticks they become unredeemably unresponsive.I do not know if I damage any line trace on the motherboard. Please I need solutions or suggestion on what couldbe the problem

Open it back up and look for anything abnormal? If you have a multimeter maybe you can test the components on the board? Maybe you installed it incorrectly, not likely if you did it multiple times but, it's a possibility. I don't have too much info, but I thought that I should say something,

Thank you so much for atleast saying something and giving some tips. I have done some testing as you said. I discovered some parts were reading to ground. I then desolder the stick and neatly resolver it again yet the problem is still there. I checked it on my PC on controller settings, I discovered the right stick (x-axis, y-axis) is constantly drifted towards the top left corner, even when I move it it does not leave that position, and the right stick (z-axis, z-rotation) does not respond a bit even when I moved it, it does not input any data. As for whether I installed it correctly I am sure I did. I have been changing analogues sticks for quite sometime and they work fine. It's just that, when I work on some ps4 joy sticks they become worse like this one. And I need some more tips on how to fix. But if there there is none then I can condemn the controller as unredeemable.
