The screen "unglued" and broke, repaired now it's painfully slow

Hey, I have the very same trouble. Change of hdd to SSD and was working like a charm for 7 months, then the screen "unglued" and broke. I took it to a repair shop and since it's painfully slow. I have to add that when I changed the ssd I used a sensor temperature cable so I didn't had to use any kind of fan controlling app. Since the screen replacement, the shop had to install one to make the fan go quiet. Any ideas of what is going wrong please ?

I'm thinking they forgot to move the display thermal sensor over from the old display as some display sellers don't supply it with the new screen or was defective. Or one of the power sensors is having an issue.

I would run the onboard diagnostics to see what it tells you. Restart your system and press the D key to enter

Reference: Mac startup key combinations

Let us know what the error code is.
