MacBook won't power on

Two months ago my son spilled water on the table, which went under my MacBook. My MacBook immediatley shut down and after drying out would not come back on. A few days ago i took it apart and cleaned the logic board with alcohol and it magically powered on. The battery is apparently a loss, though. But after a few minutes of running fine off the adapter, it shut down on me. After a few minutes I was able to turn it back on, and then after a bit the same thing happened again. And I have not been able to get it going since. My only thought is that maybe I busted the fans in the process of cleaning, and it overheated, but why am I unable to get it going now? Please help... it's terribly painful having to live without my MacBook.

Good Question. If you look under "water damage" or "Liquid Spill" on the search tab, you'll find dozens of similar threads that you may find useful.
