get green power light and nothing after power on

My Wii will power on with the remote power button or the power button on the device, after that the power light turns green and nothing happens. no video on tv, and remotes do not work to power the device off.

have tried diffrent AV wires and TV, tried to sync remotes with no luck. Also have unplugged all plugs and let sit for a wile, reconnected system with no change.
