Display change with an original

Hello, i have been searching but I can't find anywhere, so my question is, if we replace an iphone 11 pro max display with another original one and we reprogram it for true tone,we still get display message even if the screen we reprogram is original? The only way is to transplant t the chip for that message to go away?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

It doesn’t matter if it is an aftermarket, refurbished or another original 11 pro max screen. You will need to transfer the chip from the screen that was originally on the phone.

Correct. Chip needs swapping over unfortunately.

Or if you know a refurber, they can either change just the top layer of glass of the damaged one, or change the touch panel/glass without the IC on the flex, and then reflow the original one on the new touch panel flex.
