Hi,

Have same issues with my A1297 MacBook Early 2009 MacBook Pro 2,66 GHz

After changing the uppercase my backlight does not work properly!

I noticed, that covering the sensor near the camera turns the keyboard backlight on,

BUT I CAN'T CHANGE THE BRIGHTNESS (NO F5 AND F6 BUTTON WORKING!)

Cable was checked and is connected.

Does anybody have any suggestion, where the problem could be? When i push the button, it's greyed with a prohibitory sign...

Any idea? Thanks in advance!

Problem solved: Covering the light sensor next to the camera --> f5 f6 work (dark)

if it's bright outside --> f5 f6 are disabled

Thank You anyways
