Kenmore 110.27087601 will not agitate

My machine will spin clockwise slowly while filling up with water. Once filled, I hear a click or twon the time drops to 4 minutes and the water drains. After draining the machine flashes 0L.

I tried with a different cycle, a lighter load as well as no load and the machine does the same thing.

I can set the machine to rinse and spin mode and it will function correctly.

What is the problem and what do I need to replace?

Here’s the tech sheet for the washer.

Try running the diagnostic test program and check for any error codes. If there is one then the sheet will tell you what to look for.

Ran the fish test and the process didn't seem to go correctly during C2. The machine filled up completely, vs. only filling up to the minimum. All other checks seemed to go as expected.

After the test finished I pulled up on the inner tub and repeated the test, which completed as expected.

I the put in clothes and started a cycle. The washer filled up to where it should have and started to agitate. I didn't watch the entire cycle, however when I went to put the clothes in the dryer the washing machine was displaying 0L again and the clothes were very wet.

Lastly I put the clothes through a spin cycle only to wring them out.

What could be the issue with the washing machine?

Just verifying that it is an oL code and not a uL code?

Maybe check the Lid switch. See TEST #8, page 13 and the Motor. See TEST #3, page 9.

Does the basket turn freely by moved manually, not binding etc?
