Can I use Apple watch SE display for Apple watch series 5?

Hi I have a broken Apple watch series 5 its display is shattered, I do have another Apple watch SE which is iCloud Locked but Its in perfect condition. My question is can I use that Apple watch SE display on series 5 ? Are they both same displays with same connector type etc ? Any answer would be appreciated but I don’t want to take risk

They are the same displays but you can have issues with the touch depending on which country the display and watch came from.

Both use the same.

However, you'll need to remove the NFC flex assembly as this is paired with the watch for apple pay/pairing. It's a delicate job, as removing it requires the display flex to move up slightly. And doing this will either cause lines on the display to appear, or kill the oled completely.

Could you help tell us where you found a tutorial to remove the nfc? Or any useful documentation?

Hey bud,

I believe both are identical screens but some way or another apple is gonna screw you over (Whether it’s always on or something else). You also need the appropriate tools for the job
