I am not a self proclaimed authority on anything, I have no personal knowledge, experience or opinion on this topic as I reside in the US and have not ventured out lately. However by a Google search like this the conscious is that it is.

On Amazon you will find a number of people saying it is so such as this: Last edited by the author on Sep 21, 2011 4:36:49 AM PDT

I can confirm that the 2011 model released in the states, CECH-3001A, is multi-voltage 110-240v 50/60Hz as well! Hopefully this helps someone considering the 3001A (couldn't find this info myself anywhere and wondered if Sony might actually have changed it as part of the lower power usage and savings; but luckily they did *not* mess with the universal power supply). Still no backwards compatibility, though, :( which would have been truly awesome. Would def have paid $50-60 extra for that on the slim. Based off this search result.

Again this is not my opinion - just what others have reported through their experience.

Form what I know it is still a dual power supply that "is designed for inputs ranging from 100V to 240V AC." Hope this helps, good luck.
