Fred, it is hard to tell. Loss of power could be a bad power supply, it could possibly be heat safety shut offs on other components or maybe even somehow something gets shifted and disconnects due to loose or corroded pins.
CAUTION FIRST: There is a LOT of power in these electrical components of TVs. Be very careful when you're poking around. You can easily injure yourself and possibly even kill yourself.
If you want to check that the power supply is the problem, check its output voltages and look for odd fluctuations during operation, especially around the time that the TV shuts down. You can also try to check the voltages right after shut off...maybe another component is shutting down but the power supply is still operating properly?

+ for the great safety tips. The Olevia line is plagued with bad capacitors and poorly designed heatsinks. If your capacitors and MOSFET in your power supply get to hot, your Olevia is likely to shut down. I just recently repaired mine and since I replaced the caps, and modified a fan to increase the airflow, it is working great. Total repair cost was around $15. If you follow Phillips's safety precautions, you can and should check the capacitors on the power supply. Replace the bulging and/or leaking ones. The leakage looks like a oily sticky substance. Do not touch it with your bare skin. It is consider a carcinogen. Of course, at this time it is only a guess, until you can verify that the caps are either over heating or already bulging.
