Itunes wont recognize iPhone 4, but pc does recognize it?

Hi to all, my problem was originated as my wife added cydia.zchristopoulos.com repository which has a .deb files to port siri to iphone 4 on IOS 5, the file is called sirin1ght, the thing is my iphone was in IOS 4.3.3 so it crashed, it got stuck on the apple logo and pc did not recognize it nor itunes, so i putted the phone in DFU mode and pc did recognize the phone in DFU mode the apple usb drivers where installed correctly BUT itunes continued without detecting it, tried recovery mode and the same thing pc did install drivers and recognize iphone in recovery mode but itunes showed nothing, tried tinyumbrella, ispirit, ifunbox, etc... but wont detect the phone either...the only thing i could get to interact with my phone in dfu mode is redsnow it attempt to do a jailbreak in fact it does but it stucks in the black screen with white letters and says something like after 6000 giving up... (dont remember exact words)...also reeboted pc, reconnected usb cable thousad times, installed previous versions of itunes but nothing works...im starting to think a hardware repair may be needed? or any suggestions to revive my 3 day old iphone 4??? :S...

there are problems with the ios 5 and downgrading etc. i think that apple is still signing 4.1..try that and see what happens. Thing is that you want to preserve your baseband for jailbreaking/unlock so be very careful if you select update. I had this same problem when I updated to ios 5, anything other than 4.3.5 or 4.1 resulted in a hang 6000..blah blah blah. It will be recognised if you get the ios right. which place are you getting your ios from?
