NVMe ssd not showing up in either BIOS or disk management

I need some help getting my Samsung 980 NVMe ssd installed. I can't get it to show up anywhere. I have installed drivers using another computer, and installed the operating system… nothing. I have people tell me that I have an M.2 sata port because my m.2 port does not have an m key. However my port has a. M KEY, not b. My laptop is a Notebook Spin 7 Np750qua-k01us. My AMD Ryzen 5 2500u processor supports PCIe 3.0, so the M.2 port should work with the 980. Samsung has told me everything from the SSD is soldered and non replaceable, that the motherboard only supports SATA because it has an B key for the m.2 port, to it only supports 128gb ( even though I told them I had a 500 gb in it earlier and it worked. Can anyone please help?
