Not going to happen ;-{ Apple solders the RAM onto the logic board.

The only way you’ll get 64 GB is to replace the entire logic board if you can find it! This config was a custom order and Apple didn’t sell to many as it was a very expensive! The logic board goes for $2,800~3,000 USD

These are as very scarce! I would just search for a used system or get one of the new MacBook Pro’s They only have 32 GB as their max RAM, but unlike the Intel models the M1 Pro/Max systems don’t need the deeper RAM! The CPU (SoC) to RAM architecture is just better!

So that then gets inot what apps you are using and if you can’t find one of these rare Dodo birds, I would strongly recommend you get a system which has a much larger SSD so you can leverage both Virtual RAM and if you are doing video work set the drive as your scratch drive.

Now the real killer empty your drive! Move as much as you can to an external drive leaving at much as you can empty! That way the OS and your apps have the needed elbow room! 1/2 to 2/3 free is what I setup for pro’s and advanced amateur/students.
