Backlight keybord retrofit MacBook alu

Hello,

I'm trying to retrofit wife's Macbook 13" alu with backlighted keybord. I've got model with balight connector onboard. I've bough on ebay proper part (backlight), connected to board and it's not working.

My questions are:

- do you have it working under Lion?

- do you have backlight control under Preferences / Keyboard after sch rertofit?

Because part I've ordered seems be ok - I'm worrying that Lion / hardware configuration is not turning it on
