I would like to know what this component is? It's on a RCA RCT6B06 Q23F21 tablet. It was charging and got to hot then it stopped working. This is what I found…

@madams22 any other identifying numbers on your board? If nothing else post some good pictures of the complete board. Let's see what we can find

It appears like it once was an SMD Diode. It could be a SMD resistor as well

Best that I could find is that it is a motherboard, made by Alco with a Media Tek MT8167 processor. (as per the board number AL MT8167 CT9803 Ver.2.0) for an RCA Atlas Pro 10 (RCT6B06).

Other than that no schematics and no component ID on the board.

I couldn't find an image of the motherboard online to see if the component had any markings on it or not which may have helped if it did.

You may have to use your magic on this one ;-)
