Battery does not seen to want to release without bending

Cannot remove battery

Hi,

Try to pour a bit of Isopropyl alcohol underneath the battery to loosen the glue. Pry it upwards gently and as is starts to release pour a bit more and work your way up until the glue releases the battery.

Sounds like you may have the Motorola Moto G5S whose battery is harder to remove than the Motorola Moto G5.
