The phone has completely frozen as I was turning it off.

The phone is frozen. Cannot turn it off, or on, or charge it. Completely not working. Am worried am going to lose all my photos storied on phone. How can I fix this?

Mary, try to reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right and the home button at the same time. Hold them both until you see the screen go black. Wait until the white Apple logo appears. Once the Apple logo appears, your phone is rebooted.
