fans are grinding or making a strange noise

I have a razor 15 2019 and it sounds like the fans are grinding or making a strange noise but are working fine. I want to properly clean it and if possible increase my ram from 16GB to 32GB

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Max Regni looks like teh part number for your computers fan is DFS5K121144645. check places like this for a replacement. As for the memory we would need your computer model number to determine what you need. for now it looks like you would need

  • DDR4 PC4-21300
  • CL=19
  • Dual Ranked
  • x8 based

* Unbuffered

  • NON-ECC
  • DDR4-2666
  • 1.2V

Double check with places like this

my system is the blade 15 mid 2019-base and I am somewhat computer literate but I don't know what any of that means besides that ddr4 has good speeds and that if possible I want my ram to be duel channel

Max Regni you will need this when you order your memory. Of course if you use Crucial etc. you'll find that there website is really user-friendly and based on your computer. It'll be straight forward, no worries about that.

I would do some research b4 upgrading. I found a number of posts that indicated a 16 to 32GB RAM upgrade has little effect unless you are doing some serious number crunching or video editing.

As far as the noise, it may be as simple as dust needing to be blown out, or the fan bearings need lub or maybe the fan needs replacement if they are real bad.
