Charger light blinking orange after fixing shoulder buttons

I’ve asked everywhere and tried everything on the web. I was fixing my shoulder buttons and my dsi stopped powering on. When I charge it, it flashes orange and will show the blue light and shut off. I’ve seen other people ask these questions and I never found an answer. My wish is to see my dsi working again. Please help

Have you tried a new battery? A blinking orange light means improper voltage. If that’s not the issue, it’s likely you have a charge chip issue or similar.

it was working fine but the dsi just stopped working after assembling it. What’s the charge chip issue?

@eb200x Well first I'm assuming you checked the F1 and F2 fuses if you've already tried the web, is that correct?

i can’t because i don’t have a multimeter so what i wrote was false. But I do want to know other issues that could be causing this

@eb200x If it's not the battery or the charger or the charge port, then I suspect its a power board issue. Fortunately, its a pretty cheap part and not too difficult to replace.

Nintendo DSi Power Board Replacement

without a multimeter it's difficult to tell what exactly is wrong, but replacing this board should fix most if not all problems that cause blinking orange light that isnt the battery

I will try it thanks
