Do Raycon earbuds not pair with a Bose Soundlike Color stereo?

This might be a stupid question but I have a new pair of Raycon Everyday Earbuds. I have my laptop connected via auxiliary cord to my Bose Soundlike Color portable stereo. This stereo has a bluetooth option so I was trying to connect my earbuds to the stereo via bluetooth but it’s not pairing. I even tried disconnecting the auxiliary cord from my latop to the Bose just to see if it would work, but it still wouldn’t. Is it because the earbuds and Bose are just both output audio sources that can’t pair to each other?

Thanks.

Correct, the Bose and Raycon cannot pair because they are both audio outputs.

There are two types of Bluetooth devices, transmtters, and recievers. Both the Raycons and the Bose only have a reciever in them. Thus, the Bose and the Raycons can't connect because the Bose cannot transmit a Bluetooth signal, only recieve it.
