Can Apple detect me replacing the back to my iPhone?

Hi

I'm looking at the new iFixit transparent iPhone back. I was wondering - can Apple detect if I have unscrewed my phone and replaced the back? Are the screws designed to damage easily or something? Any tags or devices that detect me opening the phone?

I just don't want to invalidate the warranty if something goes wrong.

Thanks in advance

Sam

No, there are no sensors or warrantee stickers that rip if you change out the back glass. It only requires 2 screws. Have fun.

I could be wrong but from what I understand on this site is the tamper resistent 5 point Pentalobe Screws are one time use. Once you remove them they are no good any longer. The replacement screws are phillips head. They will notice.

Update

This is providing also that you have the 4s. Sorry didn't see the model #. You may have an older model with phillips head already in which case I would think you are good to go.

I have removed and replaced the pentaloupe screws on the iphone 4 and the 4s, there is no reason why you can't reuse them.
