Unblocking the bootloader to save device from landfill

I have been asked to save a Samsung Galaxy Tab A from landfill. The device works perfectly and is not damaged in any way. However a Fencing company has blocked the bootloader so that the only app that runs is their own company app. They have provided a new tablet and instructed that this one should be thrown away. The owner quite rightly thinks this is a terrible waste. I have tried a full firmware re-install using Odin, but that changes nothing. If I try to access any other app the message that the bootloader is blocked is displayed. The connection from the tablet to a computer is also blocked by “Company security”. So can anyone help me bypass this corporate software and enable a perfectly working tablet to be used again?

Answer this question I have this problem too

One way you could restore the tablet to full condition is to replace the motherboard. You can get a new motherboard on eBay for about $58.

That’s due to Samsung KNOX. The Samsung devices use KNOX to facilitate persistent MDM like Apple has with ABM.

Unless the MDM is released, the tablet is junk.

It’s junk unfortunately, i’d probably strip it for parts <Besides the motherboard> and sell it or use it for something else. Samsung KNOX is quite persistent.
