Updating WiFi/Bluetooth so macOS Catalina sidecar works

I’m looking for purchase links to the update my WiFi/Bluetooth board on my 2012 15” MacBook Pro retina system so I can use Sidecar to connect my iPad. Currently running macOS Catalina and have a 2020 iPad Air

Sidecar is not supported on your system! Sidecar: Turn an iPad Into a Secondary Mac Display

The issue is your systems Model ID is blacklisted from taking advantage of the feature, it’s not the AirPort board. macOS Catalina its self is the gatekeeper.

I know what the issue is. I want to upgrade my Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card to a more modern one. That’s the issue. I just need to know where to purchase such a part.

There is no other AirPort that will fit

The reason Sidecar Won’t work is within the OS. If you really want it you’ll need to hack the OS. I know of one person that claimed to have done it. I never got the info.
