Small 'tooth' antenna broken = no wi-fi?
Can anyone tell me exactly what the small 'toothy' looking antenna on the bottom right of the logic board is and it's function?
I've recently moved my logic board into another iphone casing ( if it matters it is a 32GB logic board placed into a 16GB casing with all 16GB trimming ) after a disaster to get it backed up and to see what parts needed replacing to get it back up and running.. all seems to work perfectly except am getting a 'no wi-fi' grey message and unable to connect or even enable it. I know it's not the antenna and must be associated with the logic board as the wifi worked perfectly when I put the original logic board BACK in to see. The small antenna or connector in the bottom right is the only damage that I can readily see has broken off. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
*also- (unrelated) since the removal the phone will charge on the wall but is not recognized when plugged into the computer, nor will the computer charge it via usb.. again, when original board was put back in it worked fine.
Is this a good question?

Matt, any chance you can post an image of exactly where/what part is broken?
