Starts when door opens

I have a Panasonic microwave that works but when I open the door it starts again.

A week ago it tripped the breaker.

I suspect a DTDP door switch bot I haven't noticed any high voltage or short strike trail.

We do NOT recommend trying to repair microwaves, they are just to dangerous to works on and can harm or kill you. These things are cheap now and just not worth the risk. This is about the only thing that i will not attempt a repair on.

Definitely agree with mayer. Just replace it, simple and done. You can find lots of free appliances on craigslist.org or freecycle.org if money is an issue
