MacBook Pro A1707 20V 1.35V at boot and increasing ampere

Hello,

My macbook pro, A1707 can not boot, but I can get 20V, 1.35A while booting. And then the ampere slowly increasing to 1.4A -> 1.5A -> 1.6A -> 1.7A… While doing some coils like L7231, L7410, …, LA350 are very hot.

There’s no chime, no display, no keyboard backlight.

Each source and gate voltage is almost same like 12.6V, 12.4V. It seems that voltage divider is not operate in Q8400. So, there’s no voltage in drain of Q8400.

What shall I do check, firstly?

Please help me!

You’ll need to follow the Yellow brick road ;-}

Here is the Power rails as clearly you have a short across one of the lines. A common failure is the TI SN650839 Power Management chip and in some cases Intel JHL6540 Thunderbolt 3 controllers (one on each side)
