What is the part number for the DisplayPort cable.

Block Image

I need to replace the DisplayPort cable on a 2019 21.5” iMac; A2116.

What is the Apple part number? Who would be a good source for the replacement? Where can I look up Apple Part Numbers?

thanks All!

I believe what you’re looking for is the eDP cable (Embedded Display Port). The part number for Apple’s actual part is 923-01669. But you will probably find just as much without that searching for eDP cable for your model. It’s also the same cable that’s used in the 21.5” 2017 model so if you find one of those, they are identical.

If you are looking for the external cables you can find them on Apples web site here Apple - Cables Apple sells a few third party cables intermixed with theirs, mostly on the older less asked for cables.

There are alternative local sources which might offer what you need (and cheaper). Also keep in mind the newer Thunderbolt-3 ports on your system also support USB-C cables. Many people find getting a dongle or hub device offers the needed conversion to what your display needs.

If you are looking for an internal cable you'll need to post a picture so we can identify it properly Adding images to an existing question
