AV shows input if I plug in HDMI at the same time

Hey bois, I have a ps3 that doesn't show hdmi alone but shows AV input on my tv if you have HDMI plugged in at the same time. Any answers will be appreciated!

there should be a setting for this. look under video output settings. you can set it to do this or many other things. also check the audio output settings.

I found out it was the hdmi port causing the issue. The hdmi port is mangled so much that something is touching that is shorting out the av input. Gonna replace hdmi port.
