Kernel pains when moving laptop.

Wife has a MacBook core2duo, snow leopard, 2gig ram, upgraded 320gig hd. When the MacBook is picked up it goes into a kernel panic. Leaving it on and at rest, it's fine, until you apply moderate pressure on the keyboard or either side of trackpad. I have run disk repair from disk and AHT. No problems found. The case does have some cracking around the edges and near some of the screws.

Thanks for any help.

This is most likely being caused by the sudden motion sensor in the hard drive. Either put it to sleep or shut down before moving.
