white screen ,hard reset not working ,will restore do?

Hi

The device did not fall or took any water damage simply sudden white screen

and there is not sound touch vibrate or anything at all beside white screen

3gs 32gb OS 3.1.2

Try resetting the phone? Hold home and power button til the screen shuts off, and then press the power button to see if the apple appears. If not, then it may be the LCD display that is faulty. Replace this to check.
