YLOD Fixed. Now can't get online or use Controller

60 gig B/C that has been down for 1.5 yrs so it is still on update 3.40

I went thru YLOD fix and it worked. Now i find i can't get my wired internet to work.

Also i can't use the controller without the usb cable. When i unplug the cable the controller will flash and then shut off.

I went back in but couldn't find any bad connections.

I would be checking the thin cable that sits between the power supply and bluray drive. I believe that is the aerial for the bluetooth/wifi.

Thanks voigtstr. I was finally able to install the update by usb and i'm up and running again. Online and my controller works now. I did dig back into my machine and focused on the ribbons so maybe that was the deal.
