camera zoom lens keeps going in -out

when i press power button on camera the zoom lens keeps going in and out, does not stop ? i have to take battery out to stop the zoom from moving

@grapee this appears to be a failed lens assembly. It is trying to focus and can not find its limit switches. At this time the only thing you can try and do is to replace the assembly. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX90V Lens Replacement
