Hi @gmandlate ,

You said that the power went off with the TV on.

Have you checked if the fuse and surge suppressor on the power board a still both OK and not blown? Power outages and then later power restoration can sometimes cause surges which can affect electronics.

When power is first connected to the TV the power board sends a Standby voltage signal to the mainboard, indicating that power is available. It is the mainboard that turns the red Standby LED on when it receives the signal from the power board.

If the fuse and surge suppressor are both OK check for the Standby voltage going to the mainboard. Usually its location and value are marked on the power board. I can’t find it in the image below because I can’t zoom in far enough to see clearly. If the standby voltage is there then the problem may be in the mainboard, especially since the TV was on at the time.

Here’s an image to show where the fuse and suppressor are located on the power board.

Be safety aware if you go to check. Disconnect the power from the TV first as there is exposed lethal AC power on the power board when the power is connected. Be doubly careful when testing for the voltage!
