White Screen of Death, phone still works

I have a 3G 8GB that displays a white screen. Here are the things I have tried.

Hard Reset

Reinstall iOS 4.2.1

Reinstall iOS 4.2.1 in DFU Mode, and PWNed DFU Mode

Open up iPhone and cleaned all contacts and reboot with hard reset.

Removed Logic Board from battery for 30 minutes and boot with hard reset.

Connected LCD Display to Logic Board without connecting the Logic Board to the Battery, and then reassemble the unit. Hard Reset followed.

Applied Heat to Display connector on Logic Board to repair any cracked or damaged solder.

Tried tapping on the back housing with a good amount of force, nothing.

After all of these forms of attack, I still get nothing but a white screen. Everything else works, iTunes sees the phone. I can take screen capture photos. Only thing I have not tried is removing the LCD from the Digitizer, only because a screw stripped out on me on the aluminum housing bracket for both pieces. Maybe I can drill it out, I don't know. So if anyone has any idea how I can repair this with out replacing the LCD display. Is there some where I can repair the LCD display, or is it replace only?
