Can I put an iPhone 7 speaker cable in my iPhone8?

After tearing my ribbon cable replacing my iPhone 8 screen following one of your tutorials, ( my own fault) I can no longer use my front facing camera nor my ear speaker. A friend is willing to sell me his iPhone 7 at a low price.
