Not connecting nor charging

Hey guys i jus got my iphone4 from my friend my bad is so bad that my phone neither connects to itunes nor does it charge from the wall charger and i am afraid ... i love this phone ... pls help me guys ...

Options

More than likely, the bottom Port (Dock connector assembly) that you plug the USB cable into...is bad. Replace & it should work fine.
