iPhone won't charge after battery replacement (red battery icon)

I just bought an new battery but it wouldn't charge after the replacement. I've tried replacing my old battery and it works just fine. The new battery only shows the red battery icon after plugging the charging cable, and won't turn on the phone.I tried measure the voltage but it's normal (3.82v), is there any solution for this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If the original battery still lets the phone power up, then it seems like you received a faulty battery. Contact whoever you got the battery from and see if you can get a replacement.

Thanks for replying, I had contacted the seller, still waiting for the reply.

My phone just turned on after 1 night of charging, but it suddenly turned off after I entered my password (2% of battery).

I also want to know the reason why does it charging so slow. Voltage of the battery seems normal( stable 3.82V), and the charging cable, adapter works fine either, so could it be the battery IC failure?

@linsyun Faulty batteries can do all sorts of weird things, I would guess that is related.
