Can battery of Mbp harm me if I open it?

Hi im interest to change my mbp thermal paste. Alry read the tutorial from ifixit. (very nice tutorial !) .

Now im planning to get a right tools to operate this mission.

But i wonder did i need some anti static gloves or any dielectric gloves ?

Did i need to empty my Mbp battery before operate ?

How to open it with out leave any trace which Apple can notice it to void my warrantly ?

To my knowledge, you can't really hide that you have opened your MBP...although I don't know how they'd know because I haven't seen any markers inside. Either way...the fix itself!

You don't need to empty the battery. Disconnecting it from the logic board and carefully removing it (IE not bending it or banging it around) will be fine. Anti-static gloves could help reduce the odds of shorting components but aren't necessary. Use of non-metallic equipment can also help reduce odds of shorting, but again is not necessary...just an extra precaution.

If it's still under warranty I would look elsewhere for a fix other than replacing the thermal paste. Possible fan failure. I'd download and run Temperature Monitor and see if you have a problem, if so let Apple fix it for free: http://temperature-monitor.en.softonic.c...
