sound problem after screen damage

broke the front glass of my iPhone 4 from the upper left corner to the upper right corner. As a result too often I hear what people hear during a connection, but the other person what they say. I wonder if replacing the whole front if that would solve my problem, and tools required to make the repair.

I think you need to open your iphone using the guide linked on the right under the photo of the phone and check for damage in that area. There is a mic at the top for reducing noise during conversations and this may be the problem.. check out the teardown too. I'm not sure this would be solved just by replacing the screens as they don't contain that part.
