iPhone XR doesn't turn on or show any current?

Hello, I have an iPhone XR logic board which I replaced the charging IC on, (it didn’t boot before replacement) and it still won’t boot. When I press the power button there is no change in the current and it stays at zero. The logic board is not getting hot. Any ideas or solutions? Thank you for your help!

Answer this question I have this problem too

What charging IC did you replace? Any amp draw when you prompt to boot with usb cable?

I replaced charging Tigris IC (U3300). I replaced this chip because it was getting really hot, and after the replacement it was no longer getting hot.

I installed the motherboard into a housing and connected a DC power supply to it, and it didn’t draw any amps. I pressed the power button however it still stayed at 0 amps.

@Colby Morris It could be a faulty coil. They often fail on the XR. I would replace L3301, 2, 3, 4. I usually replace these when replacing Tigris.

Hi! This is a problem that is caused by updating the software on iPhone XRs and sadly, it is common and sometimes can’t be fixed. You can try your luck doing factory resets through a Mac, but you may need a new phone. This happened to my mom and her phone is completely dead trying to update to iOS 14.3.

I understand this could be the case however I bought this phone off of eBay and have no clue on what iOS version it could be, I never connected it to iTunes and even if I did I don’t think it would detect it since I can’t turn it on. Thank you for your answer though!
