The left USB port not working
Hi, I noticed my left USB port is not working, so I have just one(the right one) working. Please what do I do to fix it?

Check if it is a USB power setting problem.
View the Chosen Solution in this link, to see how to check if the power may have been disconnected from the port.
If that appears to be OK use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually inspect the USB port for any damage.
If it appears to be damaged you may have it replace the port. Fortunately in your laptop it is mounted on a removable module card so this will be easy to do.
Here’s the maintenance and service guide for your laptop. Go to p.65 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the USB board (supplier example only).
The supplier example was only to show the part and what it may cost. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for L01043-001 to get results
