any ideas how we find that initial year?
Since some guesses here have not fit with my unit's specs, I thought I'd add more info than others have, with the hope it could be used by a knowledgeable Kenmore scholar to answer all our questions!
Kenmore top-loading washer
Model: 110.91551210
Serial: CF0835872
Stock: 15512
From what I know, Model 110 is made by Whirlpool for Kenmore.
Stock number is the embedded middle part of the Model's number which follows the dot, so Model= 110.9XXXXX10 where X= stock number.
I've read the second letter of the Serial Number (mine is "F") identifies the year somehow, based on F being the 6th letter of the alphabet, so mine was built during the 6th year following the start of this Model's production run.
So, any ideas how we find that initial year? Do we use the Mayan calendar or something?!
Is this a good question?
