2 +1 GB Kingston RAM wont work

Hi

I just bought a 1 GB Ram (Kingston KTA MB677 1G) bar to upgrade my A1212 MBP (Kingston KTA MB677 2G) to 3GB wich should be possible according to Mactracker.

I also read that it should be possible with one 2 GB and one 1 GB bar but when i install both bars the MBP starts but only with black screen a short loud working fan and than it runs quitley with black screen.

I allready tryed to switch the slots and the RAM it self is running fine on its own...So what could I do?

Thx in advance

PS excuse possible mistakes in spelling and grammar since I'm german THX ;)

Update

Thx in advance
