MacBook Pro camera no longer works after screen replacement

I busted the screen on my M1 MBP and after replacing it the camera, ambient light sensor and True Tone no longer function. is there anything I can do about this? from searching it sounds like an uphill battle. Thanks.

Sounds like you got the wrong part. Where did you get it and what was the part number listed? (also compare the paperwork and the packaging)

I ordered it from iFixit, listed as "MacBook Pro 13" (A2338, Late 2020) Display Assembly / Premium / Dark Gray"

I should say, it was a complete display unit.
